Blessed Mother, rain on me.
Warm, gentle rains of peace that soothe my soul.
Purging, cleansing rains that rid my heart of pain.
Clear, crystal rains of hope that inspire me to move forward.
Long, soaking rains of love that bind me to others so I am not alone.
Frigid, jagged rains of awareness that sting my complacency into action.
Nourishing, sustaining rains of life that make me rejoice in each day.
Blessed Mother, rain on me.

Nice thoughts on rain; really like rain, but can't seem to put my thoughts in order like your prayer above...thanks...Hope your Labor Day was all that you desired...
ReplyDeleteThanks Judy!
ReplyDeleteSis, you continue to amaze me. The imagery in this is beautiful, but it's the heart that touches me.
ReplyDeleteLinda: What's amazing is that my heart was so closed, yet it opened thru the process of cancer treatment and the days of reflection. It opened because I was enveloped in the peace of our Divine Mother. It started when I first recognized that and wrote that first brief tribute.
